The Consul General Amb. Wahab A. Akande, the new Consul General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria been received by Mr. Dieter Beine and Ms Nina Baumgaertner to Hesse Statehouse in Wiesbaden.
Mr. Dieter Beine the Chief of Protocol to the State of Hesse, officially welcome The Consul General Amb. Wahab A. Akande the new Consul General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Amb. Akande was received at Hesse Statehouse in Wiesbaden on Thursday, August 5th, 2021 by Mr. Beine and Ms. Nina Baumgaertner.
Mr Beine appreciates the present of the Nigeria Mission in Hesse region and looked forward to a solid working relationship with the Consul General. Read more

The Consul General Amb. Akande was invited on Friday 10th September 2021 to the Hessian state government regularly welcoming of new heads of professional and honorary consular representations of the Hessian Consular Corps for a joint inaugural visit to the Hessian State Chancellery.
The Minister of State Axel Wintermeyer, Head of the State Chancellery welcomed all new members of the Hessian Consular Corps on behalf of the Hessian state government and got to know them personally and subsequent have a joint discussion with the new members.

Tobi Amusan set a new world record time of 12.12sec in the women's 100m hurdles
Our own Tobi Amusan shocked the athletics world with her semi-finals time of 12.12 seconds - a whole 0.08sec quicker than American Kendra Harrison’s previous record from 2016. Across all three semis, 12 of the 24 runners set new personal best times.
This is to inform all passport applicants that due to technical problems processing of passports is temporarily suspended until further notice at the Consulate in Frankfurt/M.

This is to notify the general public that the Consulate has temporarily suspended processing of change of Name/data in passport due to Marriage/divorce or death of spouse from 1st March 2022, till further notice.
The Consul General of Nigeria in Frankfurt a. Main, Amb.
