This is to inform visa and passport applicants that the payment of Administrative Charges has been cancelled.
Please, note that online payments for visa and passports still remain the same.

NIDO Germany Election in Frankfurt a.M

The New Consul General of Nigeria in Frankfurt D. O. FALOWO and Mr. CHIMEZIE OKEOMA OGU the Charge d´Affaires a.i. of Nigeria Embassy Berlin were present at the general election of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation, Germany (NIDO), together with Mrs Naomi Nkechi Inechioma (Admin Attaché), they witnessed the successful election of the new executives of the organisation. Mr. Kenneth Alaekwe was elected as the new president and Dr. Rosalyn Dressmann as the vice president. Other positions elected are General Secretary Prof. Brande Okolo, Financial Secretary Mr. Kazeem Ojoye, Treasurer Mrs. Mary Bruder, PRO Mrs Hajia Leko Peters, Project Officer Dr. Chiedu Uzonwanne and Ass. Gen. Sec. Dr. Augustine Okeke.
Passport applicants can also leave a Self-Registered Addressed Envelop that is HAND TO ADDRESSEE ONLY WITH RETURN RECEIPT AND TRACKING CODE (Einschreiben Eigenhändig mit Rückschein) for posting their document back to them.
This is to inform Visa applicants that due to technical problem, the Consulate will suspend the issuance of visa from 18th May, 2017. However, as soon as the technical problem is solved, visa applicants will be informed accordingly.
In view of the above, the Consulate wish to advise visa applicants to go to the Nigerian Embassy in Berlin to process their visa applications for now. You can change your processing centre to Berlin by sending a change request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Consulate regrets any inconveniences this development may caused visa applicants.
PUBLIC HOLIDAY ON
26th and 27th JUNE 2017
This is to inform the public that the Consulate will be closed on 26th and 27th June, 2017 to observe the Edi-el-Fitri: Public Holidays (end of Ramadan)
However, the Consulate will resume work on 28th June 2017.

Processing of Passport Temporarily Suspended
This is to inform all passport applicants that from Monday 26th to Friday 30th of June 2017, processing of passports is temporarily suspended.
However, normal passport processing will resume from 3rd July 2017.
